The purpose of these meetings, held by the City of Knoxville, is to inform landlords of the administrative policies of the program, to discuss common violations identified during the inspections, and to clarify any questions about the program. All meetings will cover the same material and will be open to the public. Landlords are not required to attend the meetings, but are encouraged to do so.
By having these meetings now, the City of Knoxville hopes to provide all the needed information and give landlords plenty of time to understand the process and be prepared for the start of the program.
