THRIVE Knoxville is holding their annual “Spring into Parks” event on Sunday, April 24, from 1 to 3 p.m. Community members are invited to meet at Panther Park (309 W. Main Street) in Knoxville to volunteer their time to help clean up and make improvements around town in preparation for the outdoor recreation this spring and summer.
This year the focus will be on cleaning up and beautifying Auld Park, Competine Trail, Panther Park, and the Randy Wilson Track. In addition, THRIVE Knoxville is excited to announce a new beautification project to enhance the four entrances to Knoxville. This year the focus will be on cleaning up the south, west, and east entrances to Knoxville. Watch the progress in upcoming years as each entrance gets a fresh new look.
People are asked to bring their own work gloves, but all other materials will be provided. No sign-up is necessary.
